We appreciate that players follow these rules:
Lengths of bans are down to GM discretion and level of severity.
Account bans:
3rd party hacking programs (permanent)
Programs to control more then one character at once. (dual boxing is allowed as long as you control each character yourself). (10d account ban)
Impersonating GMs / Server Staff (permanent)
GM/staff/server bashing (10d-permanent depends on offense degree)
Server Advertising (permanent)
Meta gem stacking (permanent)
Trying to scam passwords (permanent)
Account trading/selling (This includes already the question to trade your account) (permanent)
NOTE: All permanent bans must be appealed within 90 days of the offense. After that time the ban will become unappealable. Thanks for your cooperation.
Character bans:
[General Rules]
Any kind of donor bashing/flaming (2d)
Wintrading (losing on purpose in 2v2/3v3/5v5 arena games or asking other Players for Wintrading to get/give free Arena points) (Total gear and Gold Strip + 10d ban)
Note After the ban a Player got exactly 5days to Appeal till his/her Character will be stripped.
Grouping with a player who uses hacks or any other 3rd party programs and/or benefiting from such situation (14d - 1m)
Any names (including guilds) which are deemed racist, include foul language or names made to impersonate someone, if you have any of the following put in a ticket and get them changed. (2d - 10d)
Item stacking, this includes player buffs, food buffs, item buffs... (10d)
PvP combat in Dalaran/Shattrath/Ebon Hold, you may duel in Ebon Hold (2d)
Racism, depending on the severity this can and will include a permanent account ban (10d - (permanent))
Exploiting bugs, this can also be escalated to a permanent account ban (10d - (permanent))
Note: if you earn gold or items by abusing bugs, all gold and/or items might be removed from all your characters as an additional punishment
Abusing broken spells, items, enchants, etc. to gain clearly unfair advantage in PvP (10d - (permanent))
Having a Spell/Talent/Skill you are not meant to have, i.e.: Thrown on a Paladin or Death Knight (2d)
Abusing summons such as bugged pets or quest items to mass spawn npcs will earn you a (2d-1m) ban depending on severity.
[Professions]
3-4 Primary Professions. (5d)
5 and more Primary Professions. (7d)
Anyone found having more than 2 primary professions will have them ALL removed (if you have more than 2 please submit a ticket to have this fixed (self reports dont receive a ban and can choose which of the 2 professions they want to keep).
[Instances]
Ban issued for the whole party / raid group inside the instance
Abusing Line of Sight bugs in ANY instance (pulling bosses through doors, through walls, out of their rooms, etc.). (2d - 5d)
Purposely bugging a script or attempting to bug the script of a boss in ANY raid (2d - 5d)
Skipping bosses in Naxxramas and Ulduar. This includes passing doors in any way to get to other bosses without defeating the previous boss (2d - 5d).
Note: At the present time its acceptable to relog through doors or do bosses out of order in instances other than Naxxramas and Ulduar.
Mutes:
These will vary from 1h to 1week.
Excessive swearing
Excessive spamming
Excessive flooding
Use of colored text in public channels (general, support, lfg, and mall)
Linking, discussing, describing, or otherwise promoting adult web sites (this can and will be escalated to a ban depending on severity)
Actions that provoke behavior described above (such as anal / harry potter / etc. jokes)
English only to be used in server wide channels, not including say/party/guild/raid.
Excessive continuous flooding, spamming and / or trolling might (and will) result in a ban
Rules may change accordingly.
